Celebrate

Historically, quilts have been used to mark major life events, such as babies, marriages, graduations, anniversaries, reunions“ and that tradition is alive and thriving. Today's celebration quilts incorporate traditional ideas with modern materials and methods, giving this generation a contemporary way to celebrate the important Life Events in fabric. I learned that lesson well, while making a wedding quilt for my oldest son. The story of that quilt, pictured below, is told in Cotton Spice Magazines September 2007 issue, in the story "Do as I say, not as I do".

I'd like to help you make a celebration quilt for your "Life Event“ whether its on the size and scale of this quilt, or something completely different.

I'm currently working on adaptations of this quilt  to mirror the pieces of pearl jewelry you might have in your wardrobe- the Pearl Earrings size quilt, the Pearl Bracelet size, and the Pearl Strands size.

Check back soon for more on this design.

If you are looking for a Celebration quilt that is different than whats shown here, please contact me so that we can make your ideas a reality
